Katherine Mansfield (1888-1923) was a short story writer. She was born in Wellington, New Zealand. She left her country and settled in United Kingdom at the age of 19. Her first short story was published in her schools' magazines. She wrote many collections of short stories like The Dove's Nest (1923) and Something Childish (1924).
