The original name of Sher Shah was Farid. He went to Jaunpur for his studies and later became the administrator of his father's jagir at a very young age. He developed his own army and prospered based on his own merit and efforts. Similarly, Shah Ismail was the founder of the Safavid empire from 1501-1772 CE in present-day Iran and some parts of Georgia and Turkey. Ismail emerged at the age of 14 to take his father's position as head of the order. Slowly and gradually, he established a base of power in northwestern Iran and captured Iran. With his efficiency, he captured other territories. He called himself "King of Kings".
